Why doesn't the Ultra Switch II have LEDs?
We chose not to integrate LEDs
into the Ultra Switch in order to use the largest possible, Heavy-Duty
switch "under the hood", for:
In order to accommodate LEDs, a
smaller, less robust, less reliable switch would have to be used.
We believe that reliability and performance way out-ranks convenience and
appearance.
We strive to bring the best products to the RCer!
How many Amps can the
Ultra Switch II handle?
The Ultra Switch II is internally
capable of 10A.
RC
connectors (in the rest of your system, including the battery) are
rated at 3A max. ElectroDynamics' connectors and 22 AWG cables are rated
4A max. But, these limit the max. amps the whole
switch-cable-and-connectors can handle to 3A or 4A with our cables and
connectors.
Be aware that there are many exaggerated claims of higher amps in the
RC market, but as long as they use RC connectors, since the pins and
sockets are rated at 3A max., regardless of the gauge of the wires or
type of internal switch, the TRUE max amps of any switch that uses RC
connectors is 3A max.

Customer Comments:
Last week I received four Ultra Switches and must say that they
ARE of the highest Quality. Thank you.

I would like to thank... Electro Dynamics for making the safest
switch in the industry.

I have purchased several Ultra Switches from you ...and usually
buy them in two's and three's. The main selling point for me is not having
to deal with small washers and nuts like [your competitors'] switches.
