Programmable mixing for throttle-activated glow with manual override (updated and simplified!)
Instructions for programming JR XP8103
These instructions should be quite easily translated to any radio with
programmable mix...
- The GlowLite plugs into Channel # 7 (AUX2 / Spoiler).
- The Mix Switch on the Tx selects throttle activation or Manual override to Glow "ON".
Preliminary:
- Plug the GlowLite into AUX 2
- Set the GlowLite ADJ pot to Approx. Center of travel:
- Set the Glowlite REV switch to the Left
Set the XP8103:
- REV SW (SPOI): NORM
- (Disable the Spoiler (AUX2) Knob) TRVL ADJ (SPOI): +0% / -0%
Programming:
Use a standard (i.e., non-multipoint) mix for simplicity: [PROG MIX 3]:
THRO > SPOI
Rate: -125%
0%
SW: MIX
Offset
-90
Operation:
- MIX OFF : Glow ON
- MIX ON:
- Glow ON when throttle LOW
- Glow OFF when throttle HIGH
